How colorful old monochromatic film gets is intresting when you deal with historic material. Black is not always black and often the grey tones and the white become beige.
Black is not always black
And then of course there is early color film. Some of it is still of briliant beauty and other films have changed their color scheme. Either the red has washed out or the blue tones have faded away.
How to use color for the 8mm-project/#steyr now? I will work a lot with silk print. Using it for the posters and some other items. I have checked with the guys of Soybot – they have perfected the art of Risography to the max. Very beautiful.
