Die Performance zum 8mm-Project:
Eine Multimedia Performance im oberösterreichischen Steyr. Zeitdokumente, bewegte Bilder eines lokalen Hobbyfilmers das Grundmaterial. Ergänzt und kombiniert mit dem populärem Film seiner Zeit und Musik, die eigens von Brian Duffy für diese Collage komponiert wurde.
Am Anfang stand die Frage, was die Familie «realer» beschreibt: die inszenierte Wirklichkeit im populären Film seiner Zeit oder die inszenierte Wirklichkeit im Schmalfilm einer echten Familie?
Die Dauer der Performance ist ca. 40 Minuten. Der Eintritt ist frei (Zählkarten an der Tür).
The performance for the 8mm-project:
a mixed media performance in and about the upper austrian city of Steyr. The source for the performance are home movies by a local hobby filmer. Added to them there are snippets of the popular movies of the same time, covering the era of the 50s and 60s and music by Brian Duffy that has been especially composed for this one time performance.
The lenght of the performance is approximately 40 minutes. Entrance is free.
