What was family life alike in Tel Aviv in the second half of the 20th century?

That city that has re-invented itself in the 20th century when people from all over the world, all of them with different cultural backgrounds, have been living together there. So how was it to get together for family gatherings?

Do you have any 8mm-home movies of your family that still collects dust somewhere? I am looking for material for an installation in the Austrian city of Steyr in June. Would you give them to me and tell me something about it?

Unfortunately I can’t compensate you, but I will telecine (digitalize) them for you and send the movies as files for you to enjoy on your TV or computer.

I can pick up the 8mm-home movies in Tel Aviv around March 10th and will send them back as soon as I am done scanning them.
